I've decided to create my own blog because this blog feels more of a youtube, beauty fashion blog and that's not really what i want to do anymore. I do want to do like fashion blog posts from time to time, but i just feel that i shouldn't put random things like what song i'm constantly listening to on it, i don't know it just doesn't feel right. So i decided a fresh start, a fresh blog. And yes it does have the same header as this one, but i don't think any of us are going to be using the blog as much anymore so i thought i could just use it for my own blog because i really liked it hahah! If you are interested in my blog posts and the weird and wonderful person i am (hahah sarcasm, but not the weird bit...) then please check out my new blog and i know there isn't a lot of blog posts there at the moment but that's obviously because it's new, hope you like it and enjoy! Long Time No See I Know, Sorry!

i know this always happens where i say i am going to try and post some more, and then i leave it ages and then one day i'm like oh i really want to make a blog post. So after thinking about what amazing new blog post i could do, i thought i didn't really want to do a fashion-y beauty blog post because i'm not feeling that at the moment, so i thought i would just write about something that i enjoy. So i wanted to share with you a song that i have literally played every single day since first hearing it, it is by far my favorite song. I'm talking about Otherside by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis featuring Fences. I don't really know what it is about the song that i just love, but i do and i can't stop listening to it! and yes i am listening to is as i type this mwhahah. If you haven't listened to it then please do because it's amazing! and if you like Macklemore's other songs then you will love this! The song is about his struggle with alcohol and drugs, and i just think that some of the lyrics are so inspirational and are so true, even though i have nothing to do with drugs i still absolutely love the song and would recommend it to anybody! If you do like this song then be sure to check out all his other songs too! Hope you liked this slightly different blog post i will be doing more weird just 'whats in my head' blog posts from know on i hope you don't mind!

What I Got For Christmas

Hey guys, 

Todays post is going to be about what i got for christmas, because i'm not currently doing video's at the moment (if you want to know more about this see this post) but last year i made a video of what i got for christmas and i really enjoyed telling all of you what i got so i thought why not make a blog post about it? 

I would first of like to say that i am not bragging about anything i got for christmas i am sooo grateful for everything i got and i love everything!

 So to start off with i going to first talk about is my purse. I got this from my mum and dad, and it's from a shop near where i live but tbh i thought it was a cath kidston! It's one of the in between size of purses which is great for me because i can see all my coins and there are so many different little compartments to hold cards and in my case buss passes and things like that. As you can see it has a brown sturdy faux leather popper and on the other side it has a brown faux leather zip and on the inside it has green lining. 

Next i am going to talk about my CD player that i got of farther christmas. It's from Argos i think and it is a Bush Micro Hifi with CD Player, DAB radio and Dock for IPod/IPhone. Well that's what it says on the tin! basically, it's a CD player with radio and you can plug your IPod or IPhone and play music which i so handy for me because i like to keep all my songs on my phone and i make looots of playlists of my favorite songs at that point, i have millions! As my other CD player broke and is currently sitting on my floor feeling very sorry for its self i was in need of a new one, but wasn't expecting it at all so it was a complete shock! If you are like me and like more dance and bass music, then this will be great for you like Swedish House Mafia's new album Until Now (which i also got for christmas actually) which is playing as i type. But is just as good for more i don't know how to describe it kind of country? i have no idea for example Passenger's album All the Little Lights (if you haven't heard of him then click this to listen to one of my personal favs!) Although the only problem that some people may have is that the wires for the speakers aren't very long, but that doesn't matter to me at all. 

Next up is my Pandora Bracelet, which i got of my mum and dad i think? i can't remember. This is one of the few presents that i actually new i was going to get because i had to try it on and to pick a colour. This is just a plain black double weaved charm bracelet, but i'm not going to put any charms on it because personally i like it being plain. Although i might get one for it, but that will be it.

Going with the Pandora theme, next is my Pandora ring that i adoreee! It is just a thin Sterling Silver heart ring. I only wanted a thin more simple one because i like to wear more bigger and more 'out there' rings on my other hand (whichever is opposite to the hand i am wearing this ring on if you get what i mean?) i like the contrast of bold and simple. But i also think this is sometimes enough just on it's own. I wear it on either wear it on my Index, Middle or Ring finger (obviously my right hand not left hahah) This ring was a present from my brother. 

Here it is again, but on my finger if you couldn't see it as well in the box. 

Finally are my patent black docs. As you may know i absolutely love doc martens and i have a pair of cherry red ones, but i didn't really think that through as well because once i had purchased then, i realized that the colour cherry red doesn't really go with as many of my clothes, so for christmas this is what i asked for. I think i either got these of my mum and dad or santa, i can't remember. But if you don't mind iphone photo's then you will see a lot of outfit of the days with these in because black is such an easy colour to wear and goes with absolutely everything! Also my friend has the matte black ones so i wanted to be a bit different and get the patent ones and i just liked these more. Another thing is that i don't tie them up or use all the eyelets. I use 5/6 of them (5 on these and 6 on my cherry red ones) just because i like the way that it looks.

I hope that this has been more of a fun blog post todaaaay, i think i am getting back into the swing of blogging and i hope that you like what i'm wittering on about. I did get other things like chocolate, sweets, CD's and things like that, but i didn't want it to be too long and you get bored half way through! Also i hope you like the new header that i added just recently. Happy 2013!

An Explanation..

Hey guys, 

So if any of you do actually follow our youtube channel, and have noticed that we haven't done a video in like yeaaaars, well i am hear to give you my explanation as to why i'm not uploading anymore, although i think mine, Jenny's and Annalee's reasons are the same to be honest. 

In our last few video's you will have heard us talking about going to college, and sorting things out for college, and i know that some of you will be thinking that it's 'not a good enough excuse' of whatever, but everybody is different. So because of college it has obviously reduced the amount of free time that we actually have, and in that free time i have to use it to keep up with college work, and to chill out! 

I didn't actually think that getting up at 6:30am would affect me as much as it has done to be honest because i thought that i would just be able to use all my free time to make video's and blog. But as the days went on, it got harder and harder to keep up with deadlines with college and youtube. 

If you do make video's and go to school/college or whatever then you will know how hard it actually is to first of all film the video where you look half decent, to then edit it and put it up on youtube can take such a long time, so i do hope that you understand where we are coming from. 

I personally don't think that i will be making youtube video's anymore, just because of all the pressure it puts me under, especially with the fact that i have to upload on a Tuesday because it means that i have to film it at the weekend, and if i have a busy weekend then i'm screwed basically, also I don't know what Jenny and Annalee are going to do, if they are going to carry on or stop completely or whatever.

It doesn't mean that i don't ever want to make a youtube video ever again, but just at the moment i want to focus more on college. I think that i am going to try and carry on blogging as much as i can because it is quicker and isn't as time costly as making a video, so i hope that is okay with everyone. But this doesn't mean that i am going to be blogging every day or every Tuesday, it's just something i'm going to do in my free time (if i have any!) 

I hope this is okay with everyone and i'm sorry if some people are upset about the change, and i'm sorry to all the new subscribers or old subscribers that want us to do more video's but just at the moment i think all three of us have so much college work to do that it's just not possible. I know that this explanation is well overdue as well so i'm sorry about that too.

Quick Blog Post!

Hello, this is going to be a quick Blog post sorry, as I have homework to do. 

As you all know I started College 2 weeks ago, and I'm still settling in. Homework has also been playing a big part with taking up my time! So these reasons are why I haven't been uploading or blogging in a while, so I'm sorry.

What I Wore Today..

Hey Guys! 

So today's blog post i was again wondering what to talk about and thought that i would take a few picture's of my outfit today (sorry if this is boring!) but tbh i really liked my outfit today and wanted to share it with you. 

The Jacket 

So if you do follow our blog, then you will already know about this jacket from a previous blog post, but if you don't know about it, it is from miss selfridge and i got it for only £12! (if you want to find out more click here) 

The Top

I have literally had this top for about 2 years now and it's still going strong! I got it from dorothy perkins and it is such a nice top, it basically has a sleeveless plain white top underneath and a lace top attached over the top if you get me? hopefully the picture will explain it better.

The Leggings 

These were from newlook, not a long time ago actually, and they are so comfortable. They have a faded vintage floral/rose pattern on, and they are so nice! i don't think they were that much money as well! 

The Shoes

The shoes are from next, i think i have mentioned them in a video? i'm not sure. But they are a nude brogue style shoe, and they go with so many things! Just like noramal brogues would tbh. They are so comfortable, but i'm not sure if they are on the website, i can't remember finding them when i looked last time. 

The Jewelry 

I have put 3 rings on with this outfit, and my first one is one from primark (the one on the right) i think it was only £1.50 and i like the floral pattern on it. I also have my evil eye one from topshop (the one in the middle)  i think that was about £5 or something like that :L Then finally i have one that my mum bought me, but i can't remember where it is from, i am sorry.

My experience with | Epilating!

Hello!

So today's Blog Post is going to be about Epilating, if you haven't already guessed. Today I was epilating my underarms, and thought it could be a helpful Blog Post for our readers. This is going to be my honest opinion, so here goes.. 

Background information: 

I started shaving my armpits at a young age, the first time I shaved them was in Year 7 (Aged 11/12), and oh how I regret it. Because I am brunette my hair grows back very fast and it usually returns thicker and darker. So because of this I decided in Year 10 (Aged 15/16) I wanted to get my armpits waxed, because it stops the hair growing back so fast, as the hair is being pulled from the root as appose to shaving where the visible hair is being chopped off. I must admit the first time I got them waxed, it hurt! But after having them done 4/5 times, I no longer feel the pain. I love waxing because I find it doesn't hurt too much and lasts for a long time. Although in between waxing, I hated having to shave again. So one day my Mum bought an Epilator in the Debenhams sale.. 

The Epilator:

This is the Epilator my Mum bought, originally £110-£130, reduced to £70 in the Debenhams sale. 

Basically it comes with two Epilator's one for your legs etc and another for your armpits and the girly area. Although I only use them on my armpits, as my leg hair doesn't grow back very quickly! For more information on this Epilator click here.

My Opinion: 

Personally I don't really mind epilating in between waxing, because the hair hasn't really grown back too quickly, therefore there isn't as much hair for the Epilator to pick up. Although when you haven't waxed, and have let your under hair grow, so the epilating works best, its another story.. IT HURTS LIKE CRAZY! I just epilated my armpits today, and I literally wanted to cry! I think you have to have a strong thresh hold to epilate under your armpits (I don't) ha. 

After Epilating: 

After epilating I usually just moisturize under my armpits just so they aren't as red. I must admit after epilating your armpits will be very red and will sometimes bleed, just warning you. But once you have slept they will look lovely and smooth in the morning, I would not recommend epilating before a night out as they tend to look very red and sore! I think epilating doesn't last as long as waxing, although they claim it lasts 4 weeks, but personally I feel it only lasts 2 weeks, but everyone is different. But I would highly recommend epilating as an alternative to shaving!

My Day..

Hello, 

So i was sat here thinking of things i could write about, but i didn't really like any of the idea's i was coming up with and i didn't really feel like writing about them things, so i thought as i have had sort of an interesting/exiting/i have actually done something with my day, i thought i would tell you about it! 

So first off, if you want to know about what i wore out, i have done an OOTD over on our channel, if you want to see it then click here. 

But today i also went to the cinema with some friends and we went to see the new Keith Lemon movie, and i thought i would share my opinion with you about the movie. In my personal opinion i didn't enjoy the movie as much as i thought i would, i didn't really get it but i did quite like the story line thinking back now. I think the only thing that made the movie good was the amount of celebrities that were in it. But i do have to say that i did think some bits were funny but i personally wouldn't go to see it again or buy it on dvd when it comes out. These are only my opinions and i know that there will be other people who have different views on the film, but these are just my own so please don't have a go at me for them. 

And that was pretty much it, i haven't really done much else with my day, but that for me is an 'exiting' day :L as i said in my video, my camera isn't letting me put my video's onto my laptop and i am so confused and i don't really know what is going on, but i am hoping that i will find out the problem and fix it so i have a decent video for you next week! 

Once again i am sorry for the video's not being as good this past two weeks so hopefully i will be back on track next week!

Warner Bros. Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter!

Wow it seems like I haven't done a blog post in ages! But anyway if you haven't guessed by the title of this blog post, it is going to be Harry Potter related. 

So on Saturday 25th August 2012, I went to The Warner Bros. Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter! And it was literally the best day of my whole entire life seen as I have grown up with Harry Potter. If I had to  describe the day in one word it would be 'magical', it's just so amazing and eye opening! You learn so many new facts and appreciate all the hard work that went into the film making of the Harry Potter films!

This is a very quick blog post, simply because I'm tired as it took me 2/3 hours to get to London (there and back). But lastly I highly recommend going if you love Harry Potter, it's a great family day out and it's so fun! It so amazing I'm planning on going with my friend again next Year!

I'm Loving My Jewelry

Heeey! 

So i was thinking about what blogpost to do today, and as i have been shopping recently and got some new jewelry and i'm just really loving all my jewelry old and new! 

So i thought i would just kinda show you what i'm loving really :L sounds silly, but i thought you might like it hahah :L 

So first i have a new purchase, which is in my new haul, if you want to watch it then click here. But this is from 'Diva' the range from Miss Selfridge and it is just a simple gold cross on long black material. I just think it is so nice, simple and effective and i love it! 

Next is some bracelets that i am really loving at the moment, they are like little stone/rocks all round the bracelet all kind of different shades of the same colour. I just think that they look really nice with a bunch of different bracelets as well, you can find them anywhere, i got one of them from a museum so i am sure if you want one you can find one! 

The next thing is a ring from topshop, it is another cross piece i am sorry i like crosses! :L but this is a two fingered ring, i'm not sure what you call them :L but it covers two fingers if you get what i mean? but i think it is personally so nice and i love it! 

The next piece is a recent purchase from my collective haul and it is a watch from Argos that i absolutely love! we went in, not thinking we would find much, but after actually looking in the catalogue i fell in love with this watch and it was only £9.99! 

Now the last piece is my evil eye ring that i absolutely love! i just think it's so quirky and different, even though i know that loads of people have it but i still think it's cool!

Hair Situation!

Sunday the day of rest... Not for me I've been up since 9, oh the joys of early morning lawn mowers! Anyway as you might have guessed from the title of this blog post I need your help with a 'hair situation' of mine. 

Basically my hair is brown with bits of ginger (which I get from my Mum), its very very very straight naturally and it has no volume at all! At one point I used to love my hair for being like this, as it was so easy to style and never annoyed me, but seen as my hair has grown a considerable amount over the past year, the natural hair I have seems to make me look drained or just make me look like a chipmunk (not good!!)

Because of this dilemma I always seem to be waving my hair (not all the time, but every so often because split ends will be the death of me!). So I thought you know what Jenny, why don't you just get a wavy perm? So I've been looking into wavy perms/permanent waving for the past year or so now, I can't find a decent video on YouTube or even a Blog Post, which makes it difficult to research. Although I do have a image in my mind of what I would want my hair to look like. 

So anyway, why am I telling you this. Well I want to know what you think? I also wanted to write this to see if anyone has had it done and has any advice etc for me. I know this idea/style won't be to everyone's taste, but I just really want to know if you guys like the idea or think it is silly? I would really appreciate it if you left your comments down below telling me your opinions, it would be a huge help. Also don't just agree with me because you think you have too, please voice your opinions, if you don't like it then please say. 

The only reason I'm considering getting a wavy perm/permanent waving is because I want a change and I also just want to wake up in the morning and not have to do anything with my curlers etc. I also sway to getting it because it would be so easy for College seen as I will have to get up at 6 every morning, ah!

 Anyway here's a picture of my hair length at the moment and how I would want my hair to look like:

So as you can see this is the style I would like, I just think its so nice but so simple, but you will obviously all have your own opinions on it. The only thing that really scares me about having it done is I don't want to be curly and I don't want it to take that much length of my hair seen as it is a 'perm'. But I guess I will have to discuss all that with my hair dresser.

Also (God this is a long Blog Post) I was thinking about maybe getting my hair ombred, but this I'm on the fence about because I love the way it looks on Zoella (YouTuber and Blogger) but I just don't think it would suit me the same? I have loved the ombre look for quite a while now but on other people. The only reason I haven't opted to get it is because I have really straight hair but if I got it waved it might look nice and also because my Mum doesn't really like it, which is a sort of down side. But I don't know, this probably won't happen. Please leave your opinions on this below also.

Summer Dresses!

yes its Saturday today, not Friday.. but I completely forgot about the Blog! please don't hate me.. but I am here now! 

I am really into summer dresses right now, it been really hot and there the only thing that seems to be cool enough! so I this my favourite way to wear summer dresses..

The dress is from 'Topshop', but it is a little short for me.. I think I've grown!

I put my denim shirt from 'next' on with it, and tied it at the waist

 I just wore my black lace shoes, from H&M with it, as they are very simple!

As you can see, it is short, but the shirt draws your attention away from it!

My Outfit Of The Day

Okay so i am sorry if this isn't one of my better blog posts, but i do rather like my outfit so i thought i would show it on our blog as well! 

So my top is from topshop and i love it! it is a sleeveless check shirt, with white poppers for buttons. In this outfit i have chosen to wear it buttoned to the top tucked into my jeans. I do like this look a lot as you already know. My jeans are from miss selfridges, they are Acid Wash Super Skinny jeans and they are so nice and comfortable! And i thought that the top personally looked better tucked in. I wore my white high top converse shoes with this outfit, but i would also wear creepers with it as well :)

Dip Dye..

it's Friday, Fridaaay.. Hello once again, I'm going to get straight to the point of this Blog post, which is a first! so as the title rightly says, dip dye! before anyone starts to panic, I have NOT dip dyed my hair.. but I have tested it out a little..

My mum has red/purple hair so she bought her usually dye, and had some left over, so we thought we would test it out on me! so I have been wanting to do something like this for a while but I always back out! 

Basically I have dyed a small strand of hair to see what it would look like, and wanted to get your guys opinion on it!

 This is the hair that I dyed, it came out really bright.. even though I have dark hair!

The Bargains Of All Bargains!

Okay so i know that this blog post will go up before my video, but i am going to be talking to you about a denim jacket that only cost £12! 

So there we were, me and my mum, just browsing through the sale rail in miss selfridges, nothing really catching our eyes and then in the middle of all the dull boring clothes BAM the nicest denim jacket ever! So i had been thinking about getting a denim jacket for a while now, just because i thought it would be great to chuck on and would go with most things. So there it was, the nicest denim jacket i had seen and it was just in the size i wanted, it was destiny! 

I new i would be particularly fussy with finding a nice denim jacket, because i didn't want it to be short/cropped and i wanted it to be a nice colour/shade, but as soon as i saw it, it was perfect! there wasn't anything wrong with it, it was just what i wanted!! 

Okay so there is a little story behind this as you may already know from my video if you have seen it but it was originally £40 but it was in the sale to SAVE £12 therefore it would be £28. But when we went to the checkout the lady put it in as £12 so i got a £40/£28 denim jacket, for £12!! Me and my mum only noticed as i was trying it on later that day! 

I will be sure to do an Outfit Of The Day with this don't worry! but it may feature in a few sorry! i just think that it is a timeless piece and i will be able to wear it all the time with whatever outfit! Plus i love the way it looks on, because i have got it in a larger size so it is more baggy and so i can layer with it.

Every Girl Is Beautiful.

Recently I’ve been noticing how much girls think they’re not good, pretty, perfect enough. This really saddens me.

Tumblr really makes me realize this, I’m not going to lie I’m one of those girls who reblogs depressing things e.g. ‘Wish I looked like you’ or ‘I’m never good enough’ but now I think about it why do I do this? I think it’s because I’m not ‘society’s’ or ‘the boy I like’s’ ideal of good enough, pretty or perfect. I know millions of other girls feel like this at some point in their lives, but why should we!?

..Because what is BEAUTIFUL? What is the definition of beautiful? Who decides what beautiful is and isn’t? I think the quote, ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ explains this well. You’re not going to be everyone’s ‘type’ but you will be someone’s, and you will be beautiful in their eyes, not necessarily everyone else’s, but why should this matter when you’re already perfect in someone else’s eyes.

Basically every girl is beautiful even if they don’t see it themselves; it just takes the right person to see it. So girls.. Stop calling yourself ugly, fat and not good enough! And start seeing the positives when you look in a mirror instead of the negatives and smile because you can! And if one boy/girl breaks up with you, calls you a name or doesn’t give you a second look, don’t cry about it because their obviously not worth it and defiantly doesn’t deserve you!
