Prom Season!

If you are from the UK, you will all know that it has been or is coming up to Prom Season! I just thought I would do a little blog about my Prom and items I will be wearing etc.

The Dress:
I got my dress way back in the month of February from a small dress shop near me. I am in love with my dress, the color, the style and the detail. Although I am not going to say much more as I will be doing a video and blog post after the big event. So until then its a secret!

The mystery dress.

The Shoes:
I did a video/haul on my shoes. I got them from a shop in the Trafford Centre called 'ALDO', cannot remember the price. But they match my dress perfectly and they are also just the right height, which is also a bonus! I love my shoes, they are just so sparkly and girly, which I love!

And all that sparkle!

The Bag:
My bag is from the same place as my shoes 'ALDO' and they are just perfect together. The bag is a clutch and it really compliments the detail on my dress, which I really like! The bag has a large amount of room inside and also come with a strap, although I will not be using the strap on the actual day.

Glittery Clutch Bag.

This is my entire outfit for Prom, and I can't wait for the 4th July! I will also be having my hair done at my regular hairdressers, having my nails done, having a spray tan, waxing and I will be doing my own make-up etc. I will do a video and blog, about the experience of Prom and my outfit etc.

Full View of the Outfit:
So it's been Prom and I thought I would add some picture's of the whole outfit so you guys could see!

My First Ever Topshop Makeup :D

So by the title you obviously know what i am going to talk about :L but for many months now (from when topshop first launched their makeup range) i have been umming and arring about actually buying a product. i always used to swatch the lipsticks and look at all the nail colours. I always thought about buying something but i never did. So the other day when i was shopping, i thought to myself 'today is the day i buy some makeup' it sounds like the dolmio advert :L so i thought i would share with you what i got :) first i am going to start with the nail varnish i got..

i absolutly love the packaging, i think everyone does tbh! but i think that it is very relaxed and fun! the only thing is i think the white top won't be very white after a while!

I got my nail polish in the colour 'flamingo coral' i think that this name fits the nail polish very well because it is a nice light, girly coral pink and you can see the flamingo pink in it. i have not actually tried it yet so i cannot do an actual review but i may do a video/post about it :)

next i got a topshop lipstick. this is my favourite buy because i absolutely love the topshop lipsticks. ever since i saw them when topshop first launched their makeup range, they looked so good! Even the box looks nice!

the colour i got was 'Brighton Rock' because i thought that it looked (from the swatch) that it was a nice colour and it really drew me in. and it looked like it was one of the more wearable bold colours, if you get what i mean.

This is what the colour looks like, i tried to get it in some natural light so you could see it's true colour and i think it has done well! :L as you can see i have not wore it yet, but i will be sure to take a picture and show you guys what it looks like on :) i may even add it onto the end of this post so keep your eyes peeled!

i would like to say that i think topshop are doing amazingly well with their makeup range and i think they have done everything right! you can see how much effort they have put into these products, even to how they look! i think that they are already doing so well now, and i am looking forward to what else they have to offer.

Saturday Night Outfit..

I haven't done a blog post in ages, so seen as I have come home ill from school, I thought I would sit here with my brew and type one up. As you can tell from the title this blog is going to be an outfit of the night one, so basically on Saturday I went to my friend house party, it was really fun! I also really loved my outfit that night, as I thought it was very me and a kind of a girly/grungey look. So here is the outfit..

Me being a poser! If you want a blog on the makeup I used that night or how I styled my hair, then comment below.

Here is the full photo of the outfit I wore.

And here it is again, chopping my friend out of the photo uh oh.

So that is the outfit, I really like it! The outfit consisted of: Green Shorts - River Island £25 I think, Top - Topshop Sale £12, Black Bandeau - New Look £2.99 and White Converse - DB3 £20. Hope you enjoyed reading this blog, do you like the outfit?

Remember Us?

well hey derr :)
i know it's been absolutly agessssss since we last posted, i think it was before christmas! and we are all very sorry about this but tbh i (laura) don't really know what to post about :L but i look at other people's blogs and they seem to post about anything and everything, but when i think about posting i think that no-one will like it and that there is no point in posting about it :L so what to talk about ey? well i was thinking about talking about my week scene as i have been off school. Well most of this week has been laying around watching t.v, chatting to friends and all that but i have been out on different adventures with the famo (family) which actually hasn't been that bad because everytime we have been out, we have ended up going shopping so it wasn't all bad! if you wanna know more about what i got check out this viddd..

also in that video, i talk about the things i got i Blackpool. Well for Annalee's 16th birthday we all went to Blackpool shopping, which was pretty good tbh! there were loaaads of shops to choose from and they were all together so it wasn't hard to find, also it was good because because all the shops were close together so you could remember where all the shops were and you wern't searching for hours for one shop! And at the start of the week, me, jenny and annalee went to see 'Women in Black' and annalee vlog'ed so if you wanna see that then check this outt..

Well i hope you have enjoyed this totally pointless post and i might be doing a product review on here very soon, so look out for thaaaaaat!

Dirty Works Beauty Range..

Finally got round to doing another blog post, its been a while since my last one. Currently I am sat with a homemade face mask on to help get rid of my awful spot scarring, which I am trying to keep on for 1-2 hours, whilst listening to the beautiful Ed Sheeran. Anyway that is a bit of topic so I will start talking about a brand called 'Dirty Works', on a website this is what is said about it 'Dirty Works is exclusive to Sainsbury’s and incorporates a range of body scrubs, body butters and bath products to leave you feeling pampered but not penniless!' Basically it's a beauty range and I am seriously in love with the items they sell.

Although today I will only be reviewing the items I have bought. Firstly Dirty Works has sort of copied Soap and Glory, if you are familiar with this brand you will know it has very vintage, classy packaging. In similar ways this is the look Dirty Works has also gone for, vintage yet fun! If the packaging wasn't as eye catching I probably would have just walked past the Dirty Works section in Sainsbury's isle. The packaging is what made me look twice and pick up a product of there's. Though I must say Dirty Works smells nothing like Soap and Glory, it has a fresh different smell. It is hard to describe.

Wake Up Call Face Wash - £3.99:
I haven't had this item for very long. I cannot give it a proper review due to that, although I have used it twice and the results have not being amazing. This may just be my skin type but I feel yes it leaves my skin really soft but it has made me break out, which I really don't want. It smells very nice, and has a lovely constancy it is a cream that rubs into your skin, which I like. Although I think I will continue to use this when my face is cleared up, and I feel I can trust to use it again. My overall score out of 5 for this product would be 2, this is just my opinion though. It may work really well on your skin.

All Of A Lather Body Wash - £2.99:
This was my first buy from the Dirty Works range, and I must admit it is one of my all time favourite body washes. It has Lemongrass extract, which I love because it is different and most of all smells fresh! It lathers up really well when I put it on to my sponge, another thing I like. When you squeeze the Body Wash out of the lovely packaging it is a clear blue Body Wash, I personally like girly coloured body washes but this is ok because I do love the smell. Overall out of 5, I would give the Dirty Works Body Wash a 5 out of 5, simply because I love the packaging and I am obsessed with the smell!

Go Balmy Berry Lip Balm - £2.99:
This product did come with cute pokadot packaging but I threw it away, sorry! Anyway, I love this product it tastes of Strawberries and is a little bit like Vaseline, although it doesn't feel greasy. It adds a shine to your lips and looks lovely over lipstick, as it give a glossy shine. I would recommend this product if you have dry, chapped lips but don't like the greasy feel of Vaseline. Overall I am going to give this product a 4 out of 5, simply because I am not keen on the plain packaging it doesn't look very girly and is just too plain for my liking. Although it works like it should and is an overall good lip balm.

Dirty Works, Eye and Brow Brush - £1.99:
This product also came with lovely pokadot packaging but I threw it away also, sorry again! I have been looking for a Eye and Brow Brush for quite sometime now, I have had my eye on the Elf one although it is hardly ever in stock and I have given up trying to purchase it. So I was going through the make-up isle of Sainsbury's and I notice Dirty Works also do make-up brushes, I was amazed! Brushes I can remember them selling are the Eye and Brow Brush, Powder Brush, Foundation Brush and they also do False Eyelashes. I though they would be quite pricey but they are the same as Elf to be honest, so I put the Eye and Brow Brush in my basket and paid. I am very happy with the brush it does everything I want, which isn't much as it is just sorting out my eyebrows! It is a very simply black brush which has Dirty Works written in white on the handle of the brush, very sleek! Overall I would give the Eye and Brow Brush a 5 out of 5, as it does everything I would expect from a Eye and Brow Brush, love it and it was cheap, bargain!

Concluding Paragraph About Dirty Works:
I must say I am very impressed with Dirty Works, as I feel it is just as good as Soap and Glory. Soap and Glory finally have competition! Anyway in love with the products I have purchased from Dirty Work, I will defiantly be buying more! I think there products are to a high standard but at the same time they are affordable for everyone. So go down to your local Sainsbury's and try out Dirty Works!

Lastly I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year! I will be doing blog posts after then, due to the fact I have a lot on on the upcoming weeks. There will be many product and clothing reviews etc, so remember to keep checking out our blog. See you all then.

How cute!? Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year from all of us!
